Waste transfer notes, signatures and invoicing off paper
01 · Situation
Legacy order processing mixed customer management, pro-forma handling, workshop release, product pricing and despatch activity across older systems and manual workarounds.
Nothing enforced sequence. Reporting across sales, operations and finance had to be assembled by hand, and waste transfer notes, signatures and collection invoicing were still on paper.
02 · Objectives
03 · The consolidation
The value wasn’t in the customer record. It was in connecting that record to workshop job sheets, despatch notes, compliance paperwork and the accounts handoff, so one order moved through the business under one set of rules.
04 · Migration approach
Phase one built the operational core: customers, catalogue, pricing, quotes, orders, job sheets and despatch. Phase two added the digital waste transfer process on top of a platform that was already running live.
